Astract title: Design for a circular and sustainable economy

In my talk I will share our latest insights into the role of design and design thinking in the transition to a sustainable and circular economy. Our work at TU Delft focuses on achieving meaningful change in practice. We use the lessons learned from practice to create new design methods and approaches, and vice versa. I will address a number of case studies and explain what these have taught us about the role and value of design. Next, I will show how we are trying to shape a design for sustainability agenda of the future. This is work in progress, and I would welcome your thoughts and ideas!
